The correct way to launch a Chinese Lantern is as follows:
1. Unwrap the lantern from its packaging, be sure to place all wrapping in the garbage so nothing is left on the ground.
2. Make sure you use two people for the launch, have one person hold out the lantern, holding the top of the lantern with one hand and bottom of the lantern with the other hand.
3. Have the second person light each corner of the fuel cell.
4. Wait for the lantern to fill up with hot air, hold onto it for as long as you can, you will start to feel it is ready as it will pull away from you.
5. Once you can feel it is ready, let it go and watch as it soars into the sky.
