Thanksgiving is certainly a special time of year. Families and friends get together and celebrate Thanksgiving the harvest festival, where people would gather to give thanks for the harvest and to give thanks in general for what they had received during the year. It may have been a religious day originally but now it is identified as being a secular tradition.
